The Multi3Generation COST Action has facilitated connections and initiated discussions to establish new collaborations with Unbabel. The industrial stakeholder has been actively involved in the Action’s activities and events, including contributing to and presenting an article at the 23rd Annual Conference of the European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT 2022) in Ghent, Belgium. Furthermore, Multi3Generation organized a Workshop on Multilingual, Multimodal, and Multitask Language Generation at EAMT 2023, where Unbabel was represented with an invited talk on “Towards Explainable and Reliable Multilingual NLP”. Additionally, Unbabel collaborators have participated in two training schools focused on “Representation Mediated Multimodality”: the 2022 edition held in Schloss Etelsen, Bremen, Germany, and the 2024 edition at the University of Malta, in Malta.
